28th February
Heather Glynn
“Southend Pier in the 40’s and 50’s”

Heather moved into the Southend area in 1943, attended Southend High School for Girls. She met her late husband on Southend Pier, and they used to charter a fishing boat, as they were both passionate about fishing. Heather has 3 children, 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. These talks are based on her own life. She also like gardening, of course.
